Recruitment
There is a great demand for employees in fast-growing companies. It is very difficult to find good specialists in the IT industry in Warsaw. As a manager, you should complete your team yourself. For me it has always been very important to have a good relationship with the people I work with directly. As a Team Leader, I always recruited my team members on my own. As a Development Manager, I recruited for Team Leader roles and for all roles that I thought had a big impact on my teams or organizations. This does not mean that I had to be in every recruitment from start to finish. It was always enough for me to talk for 10 – 20 minutes to see if I would have anything to talk about with a given person or not. Technical and substantive issues were always left to specialists.
Over the years of working in the organization, many of my associates have become my colleagues. Our relationships helped us work together even more effectively. Thanks to the fact that we also know each other privately, we can communicate faster and we know our strengths and weaknesses.
There is an important thing to remember when you decide to have friends at work. Such a relationship should be professional so that it is not perceived as cronyism. If your colleague joins your team, it is worth sitting down with him and discussing what he should look like.
It should be fun and good to work with cool people who we have something to talk to. & nbsp; & nbsp;
